The company that produces Fremont’s legendary (and community project funding) events – the Fremont Fair and the Fremont Octoberfest – is slated to stage Kirkland Uncorked on August 27th – 29th at Marina Park. With 70plus Washington Wines available for sample, an all-ages street fair and a food truck feast on the schedule, Bold Hat Productions will need an army of volunteers to produce Kirkland Uncorked – can you help?
As a benefit for the Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Kirkland Uncorked will be more than just a joyous opportunity for people to come together and celebrate some return to normalcy. This tasting of the best of Washington’s home-grown wines will share our state’s bounty while also giving attendees other entertainments and educational opportunities.
Volunteers, who donate 4 hours or more of their time, will be given free admission to Kirkland Uncorked, plus 10 tasting tokens (for those 21+.) Volunteers also receive a super-sweet commemorative t-shirt. Best of all, volunteers gain the good karma and knowledge of helping support local pets finding forever homes through the Homeward Pet Adoption Center (click here.)
Volunteer by signing up on Sign-Up Genius (click here,) and pick the shift that fits best in your schedule – and maybe find the one that you and your friends want to work together.
Kirkland Uncorked, on August 27th – 29th, will be a great chance to give your time and talents to making a community smile! This will also be an amazing opportunity to get a taste for volunteering in the ‘new normal’ in preparation for the Fremont Oktoberfest 2021 coming on September 17th – 19th.
