Volunteers Needed For Literacy Source, And Changing Lives

Literacy Source currently is seeking more volunteers, and everyone is invited to attend the New Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, August 5th, at 1p or 7p.  Sign up on-line to attend, or ask questions at annes@literacysource.org or 206/782-2050.

Volunteers are needed as:

  • One-On-One Tutors (3hrs a week, flexible times scheduled between 9a – 8:30p)
  • One-On-One ESL Tutors (2hrs a week, Tue & Thu from 1:15p – 2:15p at the Central Seattle Library)
  • One-On-One Digital Literacy Tutors (2x per week, Tue & Thu afternoons & evenings, Spanish speakers preferred)
  • One-On-One Digital Literacy Tutors (2x per week, Mon & Wed morning & afternoons)
  • Workplace ESL Classroom Teacher (2hrs a week, Tue & Thu 9a – 11a)
  • Library Support (2hrs a week, flexible times between 9a – 8:30p)
  • Student Assessment Proctors (2 – 5hrs a week)
  • Mock Interviewers (1hr as needed)
