Literacy Source currently is seeking more volunteers, and everyone is invited to attend the New Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, August 5th, at 1p or 7p. Sign up on-line to attend, or ask questions at annes@literacysource.org or 206/782-2050.
Volunteers are needed as:
- One-On-One Tutors (3hrs a week, flexible times scheduled between 9a – 8:30p)
- One-On-One ESL Tutors (2hrs a week, Tue & Thu from 1:15p – 2:15p at the Central Seattle Library)
- One-On-One Digital Literacy Tutors (2x per week, Tue & Thu afternoons & evenings, Spanish speakers preferred)
- One-On-One Digital Literacy Tutors (2x per week, Mon & Wed morning & afternoons)
- Workplace ESL Classroom Teacher (2hrs a week, Tue & Thu 9a – 11a)
- Library Support (2hrs a week, flexible times between 9a – 8:30p)
- Student Assessment Proctors (2 – 5hrs a week)
- Mock Interviewers (1hr as needed)
