The Fremont Neighborhood Council is spreading the word: vote for The Fremont Troll as the Best Quirky Landmark in a USA Today poll that closes at Noon (EST) on Monday, June 23rd. (Vote here.)

As of mid-day on Tuesday, June 17th, the Big Tex landmark in Dallas, Texas had a major lead in polling, but our Troll lurked just behind, in fifth place, among the 20 contenders.

Consider casting a vote for the Fremont Troll (no purchase necessary, and leaving an e-mail address is optional,) in honor of Fremont Month. At least take a look at the contenders, and discover that Fremont may be the place of ‘De Libertas Quirkas’ but we certainly aren’t alone in that sentiment…
