Ballots are now being accepted for Fremont’s Best of 2013. Vote by e-mail to name your choice for Fremont’s Best Organization, Fremont’s Best Business, and Fremont’s Best Neighbor for 2013.
For 2012, Fremocentrist.com readers selected the B.F. Day PTSA & Staff as the Best Organization, possibly for the work done to improve the playground (the Grand Opening of Phase I took place yesterday!) Fremont’s Best Resident for 2013 was Charles Hadrann, owner of Wright Bros. Cycle Works and organizer of shipping an entire, D.I.Y., mobile bicycle repair station to U.S. Army Camp Buehring in Kuwait. The readers selected Brown Paper Tickets as Fremont’s Best Business in 2012.
These three entities will be disqualified from nominations this year, but Fremont still has dozens upon dozens of wonderful companies, organizations and residents doing amazing work. Please, send nominations to instigator@box2219.temp.domains – one ‘ballot’ per e-mail address. Voting will remain open until midnight on December 31st, but let’s break with tradition and give credit now to those who do incredible work here at the Center of the Universe!
