‘Voyage For Madmen’ Comes To Life At West Of Lenin

VoyageforMadmen_weblgrFor a limited, three-week run, starting February 19th, the play ‘Voyage For Madmen’ written by Gregory Award-winning playwright Rachel Atkins, and directed by Susanna Burney, will be staged at West of Lenin theater.

A chronicle of the lofty dreams, and incredible collapse, of the Ardeo Theatre Project, this play brings to life the epic true story of the Seattle artists who bought a chateau in France to launch a theatre company.  With heightened theatricality, ‘Voyage For Madmen’ delves into the world of start-ups and taking creative risk at all costs, while highlighting many of the strange-but-true aspects of this story written in honor of the many people who were part of making Ardeo a reality, and were part of its tragic collapse.

Through March 7th, see this theatrical version of what really happened behind the castle walls.  Tickets for ‘Voyage For Madmen’ can be purchased through Click4Tix.  As a partner project of The 14/48 Projects, early bird tickets can be purchased for only $14.48 for a limited time (general tickets will be $20.)  Don’t miss this chance to relive theater of the 1990s, and the crash and burn of Ardeo!
