The Wallingford Community Senior Center hosts educational and informative programs and presentations each month – for our elders, and anyone who needs to know.

On April 5th, at 1p, join WCSC members (and the general public) for a presentation on How To Avoid Tax Scams.  Bill Mezger, Local Taxpayer Advocate for Washington State, will share information about tax issues and safety, specific to protecting seniors, but helpful to everyone.  He will touch on:

  • tax scam information
  • how to protect your information when the IRS says they are contacting you
  • about the Taxpayer Advocate Service, and criteria for inclusion in the program

This is a free presentation, but advance registration is appreciated.  Please register to attend (click here.)  Find out more about upcoming informational programs at the WCSC, plus the hot lunch program, on the WCSC website.
