After five years, Willow & Bloom, Fremont’s florist, will relocate to Magnolia. “We will miss being in Fremont, and all of the Fremonsters we’ve become friends with!,” wrote owner Miya Ferguson by e-mail.
The shop will be moving into a private studio space, a larger space than the storefront in Fremont, and allows Ferguson to be closer to her daughter. Also, according to Ferguson, “the vast majority of my business comes from my online presence and loyal customer following,” and not from walk-in traffic.
Ferguson does credit the retail location in Fremont for allowing her to build relationships with many current customers, and launch the brand of Willow & Bloom. “I am truly appreciative of my time spent in the Center of the Universe!” she wrote.
