Last week, two members of the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club, won an award for their vision for the future of Seattle.

In a city-wide contest, sponsored by Skanska, children were invited to draw a picture and explain what they want their city to look like in thirty years. The winners of the contest, in first and second places, were members of our own Boys & Girls Club.

The Wallingford Boys & Girls Club presented the awards in the courtyard of their 45th Street facility. The first place winner received a one-year membership to the Woodland Park Zoo, and the second place winner was given a $100 certificate to the Zoo. Both boys also took home a city-skyline statuette, and the congratulations of all their friends and admirers at the Club. Good job!!
