The Woodland Park Zoo is open all year, and the animals are always available for visits and celebrating the seasons! Over the weekends of December 14th – 16th and 21st – 23rd, get in the spirit with wreaths, trees, treats and joy for the animals.
In this season of giving, the Zoo staff will treat its wildlife residents to fish-or-fruit trimmed wreaths, evergreen trees with ornamental fruit, or gift-wrapped boxes of healthy treats. As part of the Zoo’s excellent animal care programs, the gifts are aimed at encouraging natural behavior and keeping the animals mentally and physically stimulated. The gifts are given at times to maximize the extraordinary experience of Zoo visitors.

For those looking to stroll the spacious and beautifully lit grounds of Woodland Park, come witness the eighth annual WildLights, presented by Sound Credit Union. While the animals snooze, the lights provide glowing and gorgeous grounds in which to explore and enjoy, through January 5th. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Zoo.org/wildlights (click here,) or at the Zoo gates.
