On Saturday, August 8th, from 9:30a – 3p, the Woodland Park Zoo has scheduled a day of events in honor of Asian Wildlife Conservation.  Celebrate Asia’s most endangered and elusive creatures, from the Malayan tigers to snow leopards, and learn more about these amazing animals and what the Zoo – and all of us – can do to protect them.

Activities, and the specific locations and times, will be posted at Zoo entrances and is downloadable as an app.  The schedule so far is:

  • 9:45a – Tiger talk and enrichment
  • 10a – Siamang keeper talk, and learn more about the ‘Year of the Gibbon’
  • 10:30a – Tree kangaroo Q & A
