On Monday, October 30th, at 7p, Parley will present a one-night-only world-premiere workshop production of a new play, ‘About Marilyn’, written by Julieta Vitullo and directed by Rebecca Tourino Collinsworth, at West of Lenin.
The story takes place in the early eighties, in a New Jersey suburb, and Marilyn, a nineteen-year-old in a wheelchair, lives quietly with big dreams. While her domineering brothers feud over the family inheritance, Marilyn takes a gamble on an impossible way out. Will her rare imagination be strong enough to change her destiny?
This production features actors Sydney Maltese, Terry Boyd and Dara Lillis, and is produced by Parley, a proud member of TPS (Theatre Puget Sound) and fiscally sponsored by Shunpike. Tickets to this unique theatrical opportunity cost $10 per person, and can be purchased in advance through Brown Paper Tickets.
