Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

On Saturday, June 16th, the Fremont Solstice Parade, as produced by the Fremont Arts Council (FAC), will return to our streets at 1p. This will be the 30th Annual Parade, and it will be followed by the FAC’s annual Solstice Celebration at Gas Works Park.
On July 7th, more than 40 Washington distilleries and food vendors will serve samples at the Fremont Studios, as part of the annual PROOF industry showcase.
On Wednesday, May 23rd, from 6p – 8p, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will host its weekly wine tasting, this time featuring two labels and welcoming two wine experts.
Harp Seattle returns to Dusty Strings this Fall, October 5th – 7th, with classes and concerts. This three-day intensive for musicians provides opportunities rare for players of this gorgeous instrument. Early bird registration is available through June 15th
On Saturday, June 16th, from 10a – 2a, Nectar Lounge is hosting a Fremont Solstice Celebration, with live music, specialty cocktails and viewing of the legendary Fremont Solstice Parade, produced by the Fremont Arts Council.
