Ash Wednesday Services Available With Fremont Faith Communities
On Wednesday, February 14th, everyone is invited to attend one of the Ash Wednesday services going on – before or after celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. Once again, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture will host an artist in the northwest ‘Rapunzel’ tower of the Fremont Bridge this summer, and they are currently accepting applications from musicians/composers who want to serve as Artist-in-Residence.

On Friday, February 2nd, at 8p, local musician, Emily Ann Peterson, will celebrate the release of her new book, ‘Bare Naked Bravery: How To Be Creatively Courageous’, at Fremont Abbey Arts Center. Joined by singer-songwriter Brittain Ashford, the evening will be one of song, storytelling and book signing.
