Do The Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest This Weekend!
This weekend, Friday, April 14th & Saturday, April 15th, the Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest returns to the Fremont Studios, giving all of us another reason to stay indoors.
Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

On May 20th, at 9a, starting at Hale’s Brewery, adventurous souls, interested in having fun…and fundraising for a great cause, can take part in the first-ever Great Unknown Challenge, for the Lupus Foundation of America.
Local filmmaker Michael Falcone’s documentary, ‘The Hall Of Giants: The Story of Fremont & The Troll’, has been nominated for Best Documentary and Best Cinematography prizes at the Nice International Film Festival in France. On Monday, May 15th, the film will be shown to audiences and judges, with the prize bestowed on the winning film on May 20th.
The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will offer another credited class through the North Seattle College. This time, learn ‘The History Of Bourbon: An American Classic’, on Monday, April 17th, in a two hour intensive on the quintessential American whiskey from two local experts.
The FAC depends on volunteer efforts, for May Day and for its annual, legendary Fremont Solstice Parade. Please consider getting involved.
