SPU Tips On Trash Disposal, Including Fireworks

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) wants customers to know that garbage, recycling, and food & yard waste collections will take place on a normal schedule Thursday, July 4th, Independence Day. Also, during this holiday, please note that leaving unused fireworks around your house – or summer cabin, grandparent’s place or other recreational shelter – can be dangerous to your children, pets, visitors and the entire structure.

Community Of Support for Alzheimer’s Caregivers

On the first Monday of each month, from 2p – 3:30p, – next on July 1st – those caring for someone with memory loss can attend an Alzheimer’s Association caregivers support group, to learn and gain wisdom from others caring for a person with memory loss.
