Bounce With The Fremont Rotary at Fremont Fair
At the Fremont Fair this weekend, June 22nd & 23rd, kids can get their bounce out thanks to the Rotary Club of Fremont!
Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

On Thursday, June 27th, at 8p (doors at 7p – for those who want a great seat for viewing,) The Backdoor and Under U4Men will stage the ‘Pre-Pride All-Male Review Swimsuit & Underwear Show’ as a fundraiser for Lifelong AIDS Alliance.
This Sunday, June 23rd, from 2p – 4p, after all the hullabaloo of the solstice celebrations, History House of Greater Seattle will host another of its free open-air concerts called, ‘Music In The Sculpture Garden,’ produced by John Nordstrand.
At the Fremont Fair, on June 22nd & 23rd, the King County Wastewater Treatment Team will have a booth. Team members will be able to talk to Fremonsters about the new facility that will be built in West Fremont in 2014.
On June 25th, Hub And Bespoke will hold another of its very popular ‘Slow Ride, Speed Date’ bicycle rides. Participation requires pre-registration. Visit the Hub And Bespoke blog to register – and get more details about this singular singles’ event!

The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods has Small Sparks Funds available for producers/organizers of neighborhood-based ‘Neighborhood Night Out’ events to be held August 6th.
This Saturday, June 15th, from 11a – 2p, The Hallows Church will host the first of three Community Block Parties they have planned for this summer. This one, to be held in the B.F. Day Upper Playfield, is open-to-the-public, who can enjoy free burgers, hot dogs and drinks.
Instructors from local dance studio Salsa Con Todo will participate in the dance competition ‘Dancing With The Seattleites’ this Saturday, June 15th. Please consider voting during the competition at the South Lake Union street fair, ‘Art On The Fly.’ This dance and music celebration also kicks-off a two week Seattle International Dance Festival.
The always provocative West of Lenin welcomes back a favorite playwright – with a very unusual, hallucinatory work. For three nights only (June 18th – 20th,) in a new upstairs studio space, limited audiences can experience Tommy Smith’s multimedia piece, ‘Lotus Eaters (EP)’.
