Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. This month, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Geek Meet-Up will gather for fellowship and networking at General UI, in the new Saturn Building (3417 Evanston Ave N,) on Thursday, April 25th from 6p – 8p.

Catholic Housing Services seeks an artist to create a permanent display for the new affordable housing building being developed at 4251 Aurora Avenue North (the former Thunderbird Motel site.) The selected artist will create a mosaic/mural for the approximately 15’ long x 5’ tall area above the computer workstations, for a $1,500 stipend to cover time and materials. Preference will be given to members of the Fremont Arts Council, and/or artists who have ties to the Fremont community.
On Thursday, April 4th, The Backdoor @ Roxy’s, Fremont’s speakeasy, will host a Spring Fever Lingerie Fashion Show from 6p – 10p.
