Upcoming Concert At Dusty Strings – Steve James & Del Rey
On Saturday, February 2nd, see (and hear) Steve James & Del Rey in concert at Dusty Strings. Doors open at 7:00p for this all ages, live music experience combining the talents of James – a songsmith and bottleneck guitarist from Austin, Texas – and Rey – a complex, pianistic guitarist performer from Seattle. On Monday, January 21st, the Seattle Public Library will perform scheduled maintenance on its computer system. The upgrade is estimated to take 2 – 4 hours to complete.
Tickets Now On Sale For Hop Scotch, February 22nd & 23rd
The premiere beer, Scotch, whiskey, and wine tasting experience will take place on February 22nd and 23rd at Fremont Studios. The Hop Scotch Beer & Scotch Festival will transform the Studios into a swanky beverage-tasting playground, with a special meet-the-makers opportunity during a special Whiskey Lunch addition. Hop Scotch is a 21 and over event.

A Sloth Bear Cub Caps A Year Of Babies At Woodland Park Zoo
On December 18th, 2012, the Woodland Park Zoo welcomed another significant birth – an endangered sloth bear cub. In addition to the sloth bear birth, Woodland Park has welcomed other babies throughout 2012, including lion cubs, snow leopard cubs, turtle hatchlings and a sunbittern chick.
