The Seattle Department of Planning & Development has reported updates on two pending permit applications for major projects in Fremont, for the beginning of January 2013.

Lake Havasu Takes Delivery Of A Kvichak Catamaran
Recently the Chemehuevi Transit Authority of Lake Havasu, California took delivery of the P/V ‘Tecopa,’ a 65’ passenger catamaran built in Fremont by Kvichak Marine Industries.
Fremont Library To Be Open Sundays In 2013
For the first time in decades, perhaps ever, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library will be open on Sundays in 2013, from 1p – 5p, starting January 6th.

Lanes Closed On Aurora Bridge Tomorrow Morning
At 4p on Friday, December 21st, the Washington Department Of Transportation issued an advisory that traffic lanes will be closed on the Aurora Bridge on Saturday, December 22nd. The closures are scheduled to take place between 5a – 9a.

Holiday Waste Collection Dates & Ideas
Seattle Public Utilities has reported that solid waste collections will be done on a normal schedule on Mondays, Dec 24th & Dec 31st, but those with collections every other day that week will be delayed one day. Also Waste Management has asked everyone to ‘Think Green’ this season, and lessen the trash created through holiday celebrations.
