Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

The Blind Café at Fremont Baptist Church on June 8th & 9th

Coming June 8th & 9th, at 7:30p, the Seattle Blind Café provides a mind bending and heart-opening experience. Audiences will indulge in a ‘sensory tasting experience’, then participate in a question & answer session with the blind wait staff – all accompanied by a concert of original music by Rosh & One Eye Glass Broken…and all done in the pitch dark!

HONK! Fest West This Saturday at Gas Works Park

This weekend, all around Seattle expect to hear the sound of celebration as HONK! Fest West takes to our streets. Fremont gets a turn on Saturday, June 2nd, as HONK! Fest marches onto the grassy banks and broad walks of Gas Works Park from Noon – 6p.

Drink Beer; Help Fremont Rotary

Come be one of the first to taste the 2012 Fremont Rotary Brew at Fremont Brewing Company on Wednesday, May 30th from 5p – 9p. The Rotary Club of Fremont (also known as the Fremont Fun Club) will tap a keg of signature brew, created to honor the 12 years of community service the club has completed, and to raise money to fund more helpful projects that benefit Fremont, and the world.

Normal Trash Collection On Memorial Day, May 28th

On Monday, May 28th, Seattle Public Utilities has announced regular collection of garbage, food & yard waste, and recycling – in spite of the National Memorial Day Holiday. All Fremonsters with Monday as collection day should see that their containers are put out, like usual, by 7am on May 28th.
