Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!
On Saturday, August 10th, from 9:30a – 3p, Woodland Park Zoo (WPZ) visitors can take part in Wild Asia, a day of education and entertainments focused on how we can all help save Asian Wildlife.

This Fall, Seattle voters have a chance to elect seven of the nine Seattle City Councilmembers. Both Council seats representing the neighborhood of Fremont, covered by District #4 (east of Aurora) and District #6 (west of Aurora,) are up for election – with no incumbent running.
