Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) has proposed an upgrade to the bike lane on N 34th Street from Fremont Avenue east to Stone Way. The proposal, called the N 34th St Mobility Improvement project, would install a paint-and-post lane along N 34th for bicycle riders
Over next weekend, January 17th – 19th, at 8p, at Hale’s Palladium, popular family entertainer Paul Nathan will stage his ‘Something Magical’ show. The amazing acts seen annual in Nathan’s ‘I Hate Children Children’s Magic Show’ will be stepped up a notch for more mature audiences.
The Fremont Chamber has had to change plans for the speaker at the January 16th meeting. At 8a, on Wednesday, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce originally intended to be with Etienne Patout, of Theo Chocolate, about ‘Building A World Class Business Brand’, will now be about Safety – with speaker Lt. Abram Barker of the Seattle Police Department.
