Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. Just heard that a longtime Claret Wine Bar team member, Tyler Alden, has earned the title of Master Sommelier. Alden is now one of only 273 Master Sommeliers in the world, having completed certified courses by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
