This summer, The Fremont Tour returns to the Center of the Universe, promoting the quirky public art with an 80-minute, guided walk through the neighborhood, taking a turn on the odd spectrum. This family-friendly, ADA accessible, interactive tour takes place this summer on Sundays, through September 2nd, at 11a and 1p, starting on Solstice Plaza (711 N 34th St – on Patches Place.)
On Saturday, June 23rd, at Noon, Fremont Health Club will host an educational and effective workshop by Heather Marie Bartels, a doubly-certified health and nutrition coach.
Over the weekend of June 16th & 17th, celebrate the Summer Solstice in Fremont, at the Street Fair, and in the courtyard of the Fremont Mischief Distillery.
Among the outrageous and awesome installations of art in the Fremont Solstice Parade, look for the VAM Studios School of Dance ensemble, sporting bowler hats and canes, with the dancers painted similarly.

Fremont’s Outsider Comics & Geek Boutique will have a booth June 22nd – 24th at the ACE ComicCon being held at CenturyLink Event Center, and the WaMu Theater.
On Saturday, June 2nd, Woodland Park Zoo will spend the day focused on Bear Affair: Living Northwest Conservation Day, as presented by Brown Bear Car Wash.
This week, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk, on June 1st from 6p – 9p, launches Fremont Month, along with the Fremont Fun Run & Briefcase Relay going on from 5p – 9p. Both events set the tone for the celebrations to come – showing the fun, culture and creativity endemic to our community.

The seasonal Butterfly Garden at Woodland Park Zoo re-opens on May 25th, showing off 500 free-flying butterflies that represent at least 15 species native to North America. Behind the garden is the year-round Microsoft Pollinator Patio
