Book Larder has two upcoming, free author talks that explore cuisine from two very exotic cultures, providing us with a chance to sample, savor and, in one case, literally step into these incredible traditions.
As part of the unofficial grand opening Café Con Todo – the new café & wine/beer bar next door – Salsa Con Todo will host a Halloween Dance Party on October 28th from 7p – 1a.
On Saturday, October 21st, from 6p – 9p, dancers (and enthusiasts of all shapes and sizes) will gather at Hale’s Palladium for Dance Your Cash Off, a peer-to-peer fundraiser benefiting The Greater Seattle Bureau Of Fearless Ideas.
Over the weekend of October 13th – 15th, Salsa Con Todo will welcome dance instructor Zeke and offer a whole series of focused isolation workshops in Salsa and Bachata.
Over two upcoming weekends Salsa Con Todo will be offering three different boot-camp style workshops, allowing students to learn a new dance over two short days of lessons.
Salsa Con Todo welcomes back Charlene Rose for another weekend, July 15th & 16th, of dance workshops. Consider joining one or two classes, on Saturday or Sunday, or buying the whole set!
In May, Salsa Con Todo is offering another pair of Salsa Boot-Camp weekends. This is the time to learn to Salsa, or step-up your style and technique. In a quick double-feature of weekend of workshops, you can learn to express yourself through dance – or just have a lot of fun!
On Saturday, April 8th, the newly opened VAM Studios, located near the Fremont Branch Library, offers two special one-day only masterclasses – one for youth and one for adults – with Sam Picart.
For one-night-only in the eclectically classy Hale’s Palladium, a one-of-a-kind cabaret will showcase Seattle-based Lunaria Dance Theatre. At 7p on March 11th, be spellbound by ‘Moon Over Manhattan: A Cabaret’, a clever interweaving of Egyptian belly dance and theatrical entertainment.
On Sundays Salsa Con Todo offers weekly drop-in classes in Argentine Tango, and starting in March, they will be adding a short but sweet Social Dance.
