On Sunday, December 15th, starting at 6:30p, local author and dance instructor Gabriela Condrea will present her new book, ‘When 1+1=1: That ‘Impossible’ Connection’. Join a cozy evening of literature, whiskey and tango at The Barrel Thief, starting with this interactive presentation, and leading into a milonga – a social tango dance, free for watchers and only $5 for participants.
On Sunday, November 10th, Fremont will host an exciting new event – Tango Speed DatingTM – at The Barrel Thief for singles 35 to 50 years old. Organized by Tango teacher Gabriela Condrea, this gathering will allow singles to mingle their way through a number of games and moves that match them up with many different partners.
Instructors from local dance studio Salsa Con Todo will participate in the dance competition ‘Dancing With The Seattleites’ this Saturday, June 15th. Please consider voting during the competition at the South Lake Union street fair, ‘Art On The Fly.’ This dance and music celebration also kicks-off a two week Seattle International Dance Festival.
