On Thursday, September 5th, starting at 6:30p, one of the newest drinking establishments in Fremont – The Sixgill – will host a fundraising party for the Center for Wooden Boats (CWB.)
This fall, B.F. Day Elementary School will benefit from a number of events and activities – and our own public school needs you to help spread the word, and attend, to continue its tradition of educating youth.
On Monday, August 26th, at 7p, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will hold its monthly meeting on all matters residential. The meeting will take place at Doric Lodge 92 and is open-to-the-public.
On Saturday, August 24th, the Seattle Marathon Association (SMA) will hold a special 10K race through Fremont and Wallingford.
On Saturday, October 5th, at 3p, sit in on the next Fremont Fireside Chat at History House of Greater Seattle, and sponsored by Home Street Bank.
Ending the season with a bang, and a ‘Big Lebowski’, the Fremont Outdoor Movies will hold its annual DudeFest this Saturday, August 24th. This celebration of the cult film by the Coen Brothers will include live music, burlesque, food trucks, White Russians, and a Dude-look-alike contest.
Two shows have been added to the limited run of ‘Das Barbecü In Concert,’ at West of Lenin in Fremont – on August 19th & 22nd.
This Saturday, August 17th, the Fremont Outdoor Movies will have a special 21+ only screening, raising money for Cranio Care Bears, featuring the film ‘Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy.’
