This Saturday and Sunday, June 16th & 17th, History House will host an expanded line-up of the Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series. Produced by John Nordstrand, the free summer concert series offers families and/or music fans a cool/dry place to enjoy some of the best of the Puget Sound’s acoustic musicians.
On Sunday, July 8th, enjoy dinner theater with a bite at the Backdoor @ Roxy’s. An evening of lust, laughs and life will include a three-course meal interspersed with mischievous theater bits that will spice up your Sunday evening.
On Tuesday, June 12th, from 7p – 10p, The Town Theatre present ‘Facing The Art: A Community Art Share,’ at NAOS. This open gallery offers local artists sharing their stories and gifts through a variety of mediums including food, movement, photography, paint, music, performance, and poetry.
With only a week left before taking to the streets with its singular creativity on June 16th at Noon, the 2012 Fremont Arts Council (FAC) Solstice Parade still offers plenty of opportunities for you to engage and get involved.
On Friday, June 8th, Fremont will invite racers to run – along with those who just want an excuse to run in costume, and/or with friends/co-workers. The Fremont Fun Run 5K, and Briefcase Relay, will take place on North 34th Street from Fremont Avenue east nearly to I-5 Ship Canal Bridge.
On Sunday, June 10th, at 2p, the second free acoustic concert in the Music In The Sculpture Garden series takes place at History House. Produced by John Nordstrand, these concerts showcase some of the best musical talents in the Puget Sound – in a covered courtyard, and a family friendly setting.
This week two local singer-songwriters – Kevin Jones and Ron Wiley – will entertain audiences with original songs.
On Wednesday, May 30th, the Rotary Club of Fremont held a fundraiser hosted at Fremont Brewing Company, in the family (& dog) friendly Urban Beer Garden.
