At the Outdoor Movies on Saturday, July 17, Ryan Reiter confirmed that Fremont successfully recaptured the Guiness World Record for the most zombies at the Red, White & Dead Zombie Walk held July 3, 2010 with 4233 registered zombies.
The annual Historic Streetcar Walking Tour of Fremont will take place Thursday, July 25, starting from the corner of North 34th Street & Phinney Avenue North (in front of the Theo Chocolate factory) at 7p. This free tour, hosted by the Fremont Historical Society, will detail the role played by streetcars in the history and development of Fremont, as well as informing attendees about the streetcar routes that carried travelers through the neighborhood in the early 1900s.
On June 26, 2010, the Rotary Club of Fremont held its 2nd Annual Center of the Universe Rock-Paper-Scissors World Championships at LTD Bar & Grill.
