On Saturday, April 27th, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation returns to Fremont with the 18th Annual Troll Stroll – a pub crawl intended to make a difference, and give attendees a great time exploring drinking establishments of Center of the Universe.

On Wednesday, April 24th at 6p, at Peddler Brewing, there will be another organizing meeting for the Ballard-Fremont Greenways
On Sunday, April 7th, HNA Crew members along with nearly 100 supporters gathered outside the LWRC building to dedicate six new crew shells – named after alumna, supporters, the Crew Director, and one Fremont legend.
On Monday, April 22nd, at 7p, at the Doric Lodge, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) Annual Meeting will offer everyone, Fremonster or not, a chance to meet the candidates for Seattle City Council for Districts #4 and #6. On Tuesday, April 16th, 5:30p – 7:30p, the FamilyWorks Games for Good fundraiser and networking event will return, for music and play, at Lagunitas Brewing. Join in the fun and celebration of the community around our food bank and resource center for families in need.
On Saturday, April 20th, starting at 8a, The Tenacious Ten 10K & 10-Mile Race will invite runners, and cheer-ers, to jog ‘round Lake Union, and along a route between Gas Works Park and Ballard – right through the Center of the Universe.
On Saturday, June 22nd, the Fremont Arts Council will bring the Solstice Parade back to our streets, starting at 1p. This year, for the very first time, the Fremont Arts Council is attempting to formally schedule the Solstice Cyclists and all other painted bicycle riders, for 2:30p on June 22nd – AFTER THE SOLSTICE PARADE.
On Saturday, April 20th, at 8a, the Tenacious Ten 10K and 10-Mile race takes off from Gas Works Park, with approximately 2,500 fabulous runners and spectators. The beautiful 10K circles Lake Union, and the 10-Mile goes to Ballard, and back. Show how tenacious you can be, and register now to be a part of these exciting runs.
On Saturday, March 30th, at 9a, the Fremont Garbage Collective will once again spread out around the Center of the Universe gathering up trash and treasures discarded on the streets and sidewalks of Fremont. Can you give an hour, or even half-an-hour, to make our neighborhood cleaner?
