Special Date for Next FNC Meeting – May 21st

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the monthly Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) meeting has been moved forward to Monday, May 21st at 7p. The meeting will be held in the same location – the Doric Lodge #92 – and will, as always, provide information and a forum for residents of the Fremont area.

Please Participate In Two Upcoming Design Review Meetings

On Monday, April 30th, everyone interested in the future of Fremont – and particularly the Stone Way portion – is strongly encouraged (by both the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Chamber of Commerce) to attend a Design Review Board Meeting scheduled for 8p at the University Heights Community Center. This will be another follow-up on the proposed 34Stone development, a Skanska mixed-use building currently slated as, in part, the new headquarters for Brooks Sports, and being built to the Living Building Pilot Program standards.

Fremont Neighborhood Council Distributes RFP For Media Savvy Expert

The Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) has a Request For Proposals (RFP) for distribution, to locate a media savvy expert able to assist with streamlining their web and social media communications. The project has received funds from a Seattle Communities Online Boost Grant from the City of Seattle’s Department of Information Technology’s Community Technology Program, matched in part by the FNC.
