On Tuesday, February 27th, at 7:30p, Seattle Pacific University will host an evening of prayers, black spirituals, and ecumenical readings with the Gospel Choir led by Music Professor Stephen Michael Newby.
On Saturday, January 20th, at 2p, Fremocentrist.com is hosting an educational presentation at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, on ‘The Industrial Evolution of Fremont.’ Local landowner and neighborhood icon, Suzie Burke, will speak on how the industrial zones of Fremont have changed and adapted over the last 100 years.
On Friday, January 19th, starting at 6:30p, there will be a celebration at Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill & Irish Bar to mark the one-year anniversary of the Fremont location.
On January 20th, at 2p, we will re-launch the Fremont Fireside Chat series for 2018, now at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library. This is another opportunity to hear from Suzie Burke, one of Fremont’s most involved land owners, on the history of the industrial areas of our neighborhood.
On Saturday, December 17th, at 7:30p, Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers will perform the holiday classic, Georg Frideric Handel’s ‘Messiah’, at the Seattle First Free Methodist Church.
On Friday, December 8th, at 8p, The Panel Jumper Live returns to West Of Lenin for another evening of comic book-themed cabaret, with Chapter V. The live performances celebrate the magic of comic books, with a short play, original music, burlesque performance, special guests and history on the development of the sequential storytelling medium.
On November 15th, Kaosamai Thai posted on its Facebook page that the restaurant is closing its doors. Signs posted on the converted orange house and on the company website confirm the news.
