Just Confirmed – Stone Soup’s DownStage Theater Goes Dark At End Of 2015

On Monday, November 9th, Stone Soup Theatre Artistic Director Maureen Miko sent out an e-mail explaining the new direction being taken by the theatrical company. While the non-profit will continue their exceptional work with youth, through drama outreach, summer camps and the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs Creative Advantage Program, they will no longer be producing professional theater productions at their DownStage Theater space (4029 Stone Way N), after December 2015.

Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, an annual event, was sponsored this year by Theo Chocolate and organized in partnership with History House and Portage Bay Goods, along with over 100 generous other businesses in Downtown, Upper, Stone Way and West areas of the community.

Final Fremont Outdoor Movie Screening Of This Summer

On Saturday, August 29th, the Fremont Outdoor Movies will hold its final screening of its 2015 season. This all-ages showing of ‘The Lego Movie’ will end the season much as it began, with each kid under 12-years-old getting in free with a paid adult (thanks to Jameson Irish Whiskey,) and the Seattle Pops frozen dessert truck on-site.
