B.F. Day Playground Design Meeting on November 30th

The Fremont Players offer up their annual British Panto performance, this year taking a twist on the family-favorite ‘Peter Pan’. Shows will take place at Hale’s Palladium, twice daily on weekends, starting December 10th and running through to mid-January. Check the dates and times of shows at Brown Paper Tickets.

The Doric Lodge #92 – Fremont’s own Masonic Temple – encourages all elementary school children to get reading, and enter the ‘Bikes For Books’ program hosted by the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library. Deadline to enter to win a bike looms ever closer – children must submit their entry by Friday, December 16th!
Come help celebrate the 6th Birthday of the Fremont Abbey Arts Center on Saturday, November 19th, at 6p. This annual fundraiser will culminate a month of celebrations of the Arts Center’s sixth year.
This Saturday, November 5th, from 2p – 3:30p, three published poets will each share a sample of their work at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library. This free program, sponsored also by the Washington Poets Association, allows Fremonsters a chance to hear the quality poetry of David Mason, Judith Roche and David Horowitz.
This Sunday, October 30th, from 10a – 1p, the Friends of Fremont Peak Park will hold one of their popular work parties. Mulching and planting, as well as a little trimming, are planned. Also, coffee, snacks and any other goodies volunteers wish to bring along. Please RSVP in advance – at info@FremontPeakPark.org – so they will have tools and space for you to work.
At Red Triangle (a.k.a. Lenin), on Monday, October 31st, from 3:30p – 4:30p, Seattle’s own Bubbleman will perform a special fall show, crafting his spectacular bubble creations specifically for the cool, crisp autumn air. This is a special show, sponsored by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, takes place as part of Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, from 3p – 6p.
