Live-Action Poetry Reading At Fremont Library

On Monday, July 6th, at 6:30p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library will host another in its quarterly series of live poetry readings by active, often-published poets. In partnership with Floating Bridge Press, the Fremont Branch offers this free evening of literary outreach – with readings and a question-and-answer period with the poets.

Fremont Library To Participate In National Poetry Month

On Monday, April 6th, at 6:30p, at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library (SPL,) the public can enjoy a free presentation of live poetry, read by the poets, with a question-and-answer session to follow. This comes in conjunction with National Poetry Month, being celebrated at several branches of the SPL.

SPL Joins ‘Safe Place’ Network For Teens

The Seattle Public Library system, including the Fremont Branch, has become a part of the Safe Place network in King County. As of now, all 27 branches of Seattle’s public libraries are places where youth, ages 12 to 17, can ask for help when in crisis.
