Music In The Sculpture Garden Continues To Play

This Sunday, July 8th, from 2p – 4p, the Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series continues – after taking last week off – with a summer highlight performance. Michael Guthrie will return to the stage at History House inside the covered courtyard along with Carolan’s Corner.

Moisture Festival Family Mourns A Tragedy

The tragedy that hit Seattle on May 30th, 2012 at Café Racer also shattered the Moisture Festival family. Two of the victims of the terrible shooting that took place were Drew Keriakedes and Joseph Albanese. These two talented musicians and entertainers were closely connected and involved with the Moisture Festival since its early days.

An Expanded Music In The Sculpture Garden Line-Up This Weekend

This Saturday and Sunday, June 16th & 17th, History House will host an expanded line-up of the Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series. Produced by John Nordstrand, the free summer concert series offers families and/or music fans a cool/dry place to enjoy some of the best of the Puget Sound’s acoustic musicians.

Second Sculpture Garden Show This Sunday

On Sunday, June 10th, at 2p, the second free acoustic concert in the Music In The Sculpture Garden series takes place at History House. Produced by John Nordstrand, these concerts showcase some of the best musical talents in the Puget Sound – in a covered courtyard, and a family friendly setting.

This week two local singer-songwriters – Kevin Jones and Ron Wiley – will entertain audiences with original songs.

The Blind Café at Fremont Baptist Church on June 8th & 9th

Coming June 8th & 9th, at 7:30p, the Seattle Blind Café provides a mind bending and heart-opening experience. Audiences will indulge in a ‘sensory tasting experience’, then participate in a question & answer session with the blind wait staff – all accompanied by a concert of original music by Rosh & One Eye Glass Broken…and all done in the pitch dark!
