As of May 30th, Seattle Neighborhood Greenways is a beneficiary of the Lime Hero donation program in Seattle.
The FamilyWorks Food Bank, which distributes food and other resources to those in most need in our community, is in need of volunteers.
On Sunday, May 26th, from 7a – 11a, the Emerald City Ride takes cyclists, including families and new riders, around the city. Presented by Kaiser Permanente, this 12-mile bike ride is open for up to 10,000 participants to travel around, including on routes not normally open to bicyclists, like the SR99 tunnel and the I-5 Express Lanes.
Donations to GiveBIG can be made on Wednesday, May 8th, when everyone can amplify their donation. You can also schedule your donation now, so that you will be sure to give, even if life interferes – or a fun party!
On Sunday, April 7th, HNA Crew members along with nearly 100 supporters gathered outside the LWRC building to dedicate six new crew shells – named after alumna, supporters, the Crew Director, and one Fremont legend.

On Tuesday, April 16th, 5:30p – 7:30p, the FamilyWorks Games for Good fundraiser and networking event will return, for music and play, at Lagunitas Brewing. Join in the fun and celebration of the community around our food bank and resource center for families in need.
KBFG 107.3FM launched in December 2017, with a license from the Federal Communications Commission to deliver low-power radio to Northwest Seattle Neighborhoods (KBFG – Ballard, Fremont, Greenwood.) The KBFG vision is to provide locally focused programs that delve into our community through education, business, lifestyles, and pure entertainment.
Solid Ground is currently seeking those who have received assistance, from Solid Ground and elsewhere, to join the new Community Accountability Council (CAC.) With input, Solid Ground can better understand the real-life experience of people seeking services, and better shape Solid Ground policies and programs.
