On Thursday, March 17th, Moisture Festival officially opens – and volunteers are still needed to help stage this incredible, month-long spectacle, at venues in Fremont and around Seattle.
Volunteers are still needed to sign-up for the Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest on March 25th & 26th, to contribute to this entertaining, and educational, fundraising event. Volunteers are most critically needed for Saturday, March 26th, from 8p – 11:45p, to help the Seattle Scotch Fest raise money for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Community Grant program.
Fremont Rotary Club Past-President Jean Withers sent out a request for help for the 36 businesses affected by the natural gas explosion in the Greenwood business district. The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) has set up an on-line fundraiser, so that we can make tax-deductible donations for people affected by the explosion. 100% of the money raised will go directly to the relief efforts.
