This weekend, April 3rd & 4th, the Hop Scotch Spring Beer & Scotch Festival takes place at Fremont Studios. This premier beer, Scotch, whiskey, and wine tasting experience benefits the Fremont Chamber of Commerce community grants program which benefits many, many non-profit organizations and event producers at the Center of the Universe.

SPL Joins ‘Safe Place’ Network For Teens

The Seattle Public Library system, including the Fremont Branch, has become a part of the Safe Place network in King County. As of now, all 27 branches of Seattle’s public libraries are places where youth, ages 12 to 17, can ask for help when in crisis.
