Street Theater Returns Every Weekend with ‘The Fremont Tour’

On Sunday, May 21st, at 2p, a recently formed theater company, Tales Of The Alchemysts, will bring three stories by Isaac Bashevis Singer to the West of Lenin stage.
The Fremont Chamber of Commerce regularly offers opportunities for networking and building connections among people with business and projects in our community. For May, the Chamber has organized two very fun, and very helpful, opportunities for sharing among business owners, managers and anyone interested in growing their team.
At Hale’s Palladium, for a limited run, Friday, May 19th & Saturday, May 20th, see the Misfit Cabaret, a live music, magic, variety show, touring here from San Francisco. Starring Kat Robichaud, a finalist on ‘The Voice’, Misfit Cabaret also features a collection of great talents, from magician Paul Nathan to popular acts from Teatro ZinZanni.
Over the next two Sundays, May 14th & 21st, audiences have two remaining opportunities to experience the Moonshine Revival Tent and musical storytelling of the newly created ‘Carny Girl’ and ‘The Trial Of Pastor Goodson’. At 7p at West of Lenin, this original choral theater piece will delight, and possibly disturb, those willing to step inside.
The Seattle Pacific University Theatre Department presents ‘Into The Woods’ over the first two weekends of May – May 4th – 6th and May 11th – 13th, with evening shows on Friday & Saturday, at 7:30p, and Sunday matinees at 2p.

On Thursday, March 16th, Moisture returns to Fremont, and Hale’s Palladium, with a Festival full of exciting, inspiring and engaging acts! This vaudeville and burlesque showcase only arrives at the Center of the Universe for a month each year, and if you haven’t gotten tickets yet, you may just once again miss out…
For one-night-only in the eclectically classy Hale’s Palladium, a one-of-a-kind cabaret will showcase Seattle-based Lunaria Dance Theatre. At 7p on March 11th, be spellbound by ‘Moon Over Manhattan: A Cabaret’, a clever interweaving of Egyptian belly dance and theatrical entertainment.
Coming up at West of Lenin, February 16th – March 4th, will be three short monologues written by well-respected playwrights, exploring identity and our common humanity. ‘Three Americans: Voices of Hope’ will bring the words of three diverse and celebrated playwrights directly to audiences.
