Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

On Wednesday, August 16th, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual summer social gathering, with pizza and Fremont beer – and a mystery tour of our ‘hood with Ride The Ducks.
As the Seattle Public Library goes through the process of upgrading its website, to make it easier to use and to evolve to meet patron needs, they need input about drafts of new website designs. The public can view a short video (about 5 minutes,) and comment on the designs on the SPL website.
