Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. City Seeks Artists for Solar Artwork Installations

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, in partnership with Seattle City Light and its Renewable Energy Program, currently is seeking three artists (or artist teams) for two separate art installations incorporating solar power. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, November 5th at 11p.

Latest Westlake Cycle Track Open House On October 22nd

On Wednesday, October 22nd, from 5:30p – 8p, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will share the latest results from work done among those who work, live and commute through the Westlake Avenue corridor. The new ‘sidewalk alignment’ plan, for the Westlake Cycle Track, will be shared at Fremont Studios.
