Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. On Thursday, April 3rd, starting at 7p, Seattle Pacific University has the distinct honor of hosting a special, free lecture by Madeleine Albright on issues currently confronting the United States, and the world.
Since its opening, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar has hosted a free wine tasting (for those 21+) every Friday. Starting in April 2014, Thursdays become the new Friday with the wine tasting moving permanently one day early.

This month, Fremont’s own aluminum boat manufacturer, Kvichak Marine Industries, delivered a newly constructed, self-righting, 74’ pilot boat, named ‘Astoria’, to the Columbia River Bar Pilots (CRBP).
