Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!
The nine-week weight management program, Weigh To Go, at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, will start April 10th. Registration is now open, through March 15th, for those interested in following a naturopathic approach to weight issues.

On Tuesday, January 22nd, audiences will have a rare opportunity to see, live, the LA based band Hi Ho Silver Oh, with actor/musician (and retired comedian) Charlyne Yi. The show will go on at 8p (doors open at 7p) at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center.
On Saturday, January 12th, from 10a – 2p, King County invites everyone to attend a design workshop for the Fremont Siphon Replacement Project, to be held at B.F. Day Elementary School. The Project will include a facility to be built on the Fremont side of the Lake Washington Ship Canal, and members of our community will have this opportunity to shape the architecture and landscape vision of this permanent structure.
On Saturday, January 5th, from Noon – 4p, the Fremont Arts Council asks for your help cleaning up and organizing the Powerhouse, the organization’s clubhouse.
On Monday, January 7th, the next Lake Union District Council (LUDC) meeting will be held at 5p at History House. The meeting will feature presentations on the 2013 Neighborhood Streets Fund and the Center for Wooden Boats.
