Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

Major Schedule Change Coming to the 2019 Solstice Parade

On Saturday, June 22nd, the Fremont Arts Council will bring the Solstice Parade back to our streets, starting at 1p. This year, for the very first time, the Fremont Arts Council is attempting to formally schedule the Solstice Cyclists and all other painted bicycle riders, for 2:30p on June 22nd – AFTER THE SOLSTICE PARADE.

On Saturday, April 20th, at 8a, the Tenacious Ten 10K and 10-Mile race takes off from Gas Works Park, with approximately 2,500 fabulous runners and spectators. The beautiful 10K circles Lake Union, and the 10-Mile goes to Ballard, and back. Show how tenacious you can be, and register now to be a part of these exciting runs.

Local Radio KBFG Relocates Offices, But Remains OUR Station

KBFG 107.3FM launched in December 2017, with a license from the Federal Communications Commission to deliver low-power radio to Northwest Seattle Neighborhoods (KBFG – Ballard, Fremont, Greenwood.) The KBFG vision is to provide locally focused programs that delve into our community through education, business, lifestyles, and pure entertainment.
