On Friday, May 6th, the courageous and optimistic gals from Portage Bay Goods will re-open the store 2 blocks west to the former Fremont Place Books location (621 N 35th) in less than a week. Don’t you want to be there and see if they made it safely?
This Friday, April 1st, from 6p – 9p, is the Fremont First Friday Art Walk – seriously! Fremont’s Art Walk continues to grow in venues, artists and offerings of entertainment and refreshments.
On Friday, November 3rd, the Fremont community once again observes its odd twist on holiday celebrations with the now annual Lenin Lighting at 5p, in “Red Triangle” at 3526 Fremont Avenue North.
Friday, October 1st, will be the monthly Fremont First Friday Art Walk. This month, in addition to the multitudinous variety of galleries, shops, offices and restaurants that display art during every Walk, Fremonsters can stroll westward and meet the artists at ActivSpace (700 NW 42nd St). Don’t miss out on this chance to see studios and enjoy works never before seen at a Walk.
