Between August and November of 2014, fifteen theatre companies plan to produce works by the absurdist, avant garde playwright Samuel Beckett through the Seattle Beckett Festival. All Seattle Public Library (SPL) card holders, ages 18 and up, are invited to enter the SPL’s first ever e-book self-publishing contest. Using Smashwords, local writers can publish their book, and then submit the e-book to the Library for consideration, by 11:59p on Wednesday, October 15th.
