On Thursday, August 25th, at 5:30p, join other Fremont community members as we sample spirits, savor hors d’oeuvres, and tour our kitschy-cool distillery – all to benefit the Wallingford (& Fremont) Community Senior Center.
The Fremont First Friday Art Walk, on August 5th, runs from 6p – 9p, and offers a great free evening of exploring the neighborhood and seeing great art all around.

At Dusty Strings we’re gearing up for our biggest event of the year – Harp Seattle! This year, from October 7th – 9th, we’ve invited four of the world’s most renowned harpists: Park Stickney, Maeve Gilchrist, Kim Robertson, and Nicolas Carter. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re a veteran harper or just starting out; and, as in previous years, memories of workshops, concerts, and connections made will last forever. In the Fremont Google offices, on August 4th, from 9a – 12:30p, more than 80 local non-profits will be given training in using valuable on-line tools for mobile fundraising, AdWords, and story visualization. Through Google for Nonprofits more good work can be done by area non-profits – faster, easier and at lower cost.
On Sunday, July 24th, from 10a – 2p, the Summer Women’s Trunk Show comes to Brooks Trailhead store.
On July 26th, from 4p – 11p, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will celebrate Mezcal, their favorite non-barrel-aged spirit. The complexity of Mezcal, and the intense sense of place it has, will enchant those who stop by on the 26th.
