At Dusty Strings Music School, in Fremont, musicians and music fans can learn nearly anything about playing and enjoying acoustic music of a variety of different genres. This weekend, November 7th & 8th, enjoy two one-day classes offer introductions on two different aspects of music and performance, all at Dusty Strings.
Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, an annual event, was sponsored this year by Theo Chocolate and organized in partnership with History House and Portage Bay Goods, along with over 100 generous other businesses in Downtown, Upper, Stone Way and West areas of the community.
On Thursday, November 5th at 9p, enjoy a blend of throwback blues breakbeats and hip-hop jazz with the trio of Blades, Ciotti, Coe at Nectar Lounge.
Next week, on November 2nd and November 4th, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar offers up two of their signature, educational experiences in the realm of cocktails and fine spirits.
On Sunday, November 8th, from 10a – 4p, Oohla’s In Fremont Salon & Gallery will be open to raise money for The F-Factor. All day, clients can get haircuts, color and other services – and the money paid goes directly to the work of The F-Factor.
This Saturday, October 31st, from 3p – 6p, all parents, aunts, uncles, godparents and grandparents are encouraged to bring costumed kiddies to the Center of the Universe for one of the grandest and most generous of all Trick-or-Treats!
On Saturday, October 31st, from Noon – 4p, Salsa Con Todo offers a fundamentals boot-camp in the dance of Kizomba, with instructor Galina.
Now through October 31st, at 8p, Fremont’s own pet supply shop, Petapoluza, welcomes all pets to come visit, in costume.
On Saturday, October 24th, from 10a – 2p, Fremont Health Club welcomes everyone to stop by their new facility in the St. James Tower for a community Grand Opening Open House.
On Thursday, October 22nd, from 3p – 6p, Eyes On Fremont is hosting the iconic New York-based Moscot Eyewear for a trunk show, and a benefit for Lifelong AIDS Alliance.
