Upcoming Workshops On Neighborhood Matching Fund

Have a great idea for a community project? Looking for funding for your vision for Fremont? The City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is hosting two community workshops for those interested in applying for Small & Simple Project Funds this June, for a matching award of up to $25,000.

Agenda for the March LUDC Meeting Posted

On Monday, March 3rd, at 5p, the Lake Union District Council (LUDC) will meet to catch up on current events and news from the neighborhoods that surround Seattle’s working lake, as well as the City Neighborhood Council and the City of Seattle.

One Home Per Lot Progress: State Law Proposed

According to a press release sent out this week by ‘One Home Per Lot,’ Washington State Representatives Gerry Pollet and Gael Tarleton have proposed a law, called House Bill 2311, to force the City of Seattle to notify neighbors of backyard/side yard development projects, before they are built or after the City approves a permit for one.
